CSU Instrumentation Tradesperson
- Pay rate: $80.00 – $87.00/hour (based on experience)
- Contract Length: 1 year
- Location: Based out of Saskatoon, supporting Northern Saskatchewan projects
- Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided.
- Rotation (2 weeks in-2 weeks out, 11 hours a day)
- Company Charter Flights provided – Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Raise is currently hiring a CSU Instrumentation Tradesperson team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Description
The C&SU Instrumentation trade person has the primary responsibility to ensure all Instrumentation work taken by him/her are completed in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
Role Accountabilities:
- Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and calibrating instrumentation installations.
- Verifying installation, wiring, and terminations of control panels, instrumentation junction boxes, and field instruments.
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
- Completing commissioning documentation (e.g. check sheets, ITPs and test reports)
- Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.
- Participating in commissioning team meetings including, without limitation, daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Qualifications:
- 4 – 9 (intermediate) or 10 (senior)+ years of experience in commissioning and start-up activities
- Journeyperson status as instrumentation mechanic or technician.
- Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment is required.
- Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred.
- Safety certificate is highly preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required.
