Hospitality Service Specialist
- Pay Rate: $14.50- $16.50/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Location: San Francisco, CA, 94104 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Follow established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting, organizing and distributing client kitchen supplies.
- Ensure customers request to set-up meeting rooms in a timely matter in accordance with company's standards and instructions given by the client.
- Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly respond and handle client service requests.
- Provide immediate attention and acknowledgment to customers entering kitchen area in accordance with company's standard of operation.
- Perform walk through of various floors to inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for the next meeting.
- Cleaning, dusting and other incidental tasks as assigned.
- Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, ability to multi- task, do not mind cleaning up after others.
- Monitor and listen to customers to understand inquiries and requests to provide accurate and prompt assistance with meeting room set-up and clean up.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year professional level work experience.
- Previous experience in a client service-oriented field.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
- Minimum 6 months customer service, hospitality, or housekeeping experience.
Requirements
- Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting.
- Ability to learn skills quickly.
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling any “complaint” situations.
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.
- Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.
- Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Visual acuity.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong initiative required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
