Material Coordinator
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Midland, TX 79706
Work Schedule: 14 days (7 Nights & 7 Days) ON and 6 days OFF | On call every 3 weeks | Rotation 2-3weeks
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring a Material Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview:
Responsible for providing administrative support to Resource Coordinators for Assets, M&S, and/or Products. Identify possible future resource needs based on upcoming jobs reflected in the business systems. Aggregate demand and optimize material requirements planning to meet business needs while minimizing inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Track job start/end dates in the planning system of record (FDP, IBP) to coordinate scheduling and mobilization to/from and between rigs and service delivery locations.
- Support data entry to business systems and communicate and initiate relevant notifications to all involved parties.
- Liaise with Resource Coordinators and other functions to facilitate equipment movements and monitor lead time.
- Perform administrative tasks related to assets, products, M&S, rentals, and transports, including physical and transactional actions into the appropriate business systems (iBase requests, LCT, FLM, ESM, CMMS).
- Maintain permits for equipment, transportation of dangerous goods paperwork, and insurance paperwork.
- Support Resource Coordinator on any asset activities and complete fixed asset reconciliation tasks.
- Conduct inventory of warehouse equipment and maintain records.
- Manage logistics, including the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Lift items up to 50 lbs; items over 50 lbs will be managed with team or mechanical lifts.
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up).
- Utilize basic computer skills.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prefer candidates with previous forklift experience and certification (will certify if needed).
- Experience in inventory management.
- Computer and office experience with basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
