Claims Specialist

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour on W2
  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Location: 50 miles within Approved Hub Locations (Remote)
  • Training Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM MST

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

  • The Claims Specialist works on the full range of claims and correspondence to ensure the satisfaction of the goals and priorities of the team.
  • The Claims Specialist also does their part to meet expectations of internal and external clients with respect to claim handling and Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Follows written procedures and scripts.
  • Uses proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed.
  • Communicates immediately to leadership all obstacles to completing work.
  • Meets and exceeds departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity.
  • Utilizes documented team processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
  • Data entry and verification.

Qualifications

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written English language skills.
  • Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time.
  • Demonstrated skill in analyzing data.
