Pay: $17.00 – $20.00/hour, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – London, ON N6N1H1
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
Duration: 1-month contract
Job Overview:
* We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Temporary Packaging Assistant to support our on‑site operations in London, Ontario.
* This role plays a key part in our sample handling workflow by ensuring accurate packaging, labeling, and shipment of materials.
* Candidates must be comfortable working around agricultural chemicals and treated seed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform repetitive sample packaging tasks with accuracy.
* Apply correct labeling to all packaged samples.
* Prepare treated samples and other materials for shipping following established procedures.
* Follow all written and verbal instructions carefully.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Adhere to safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.
* Handle all materials and information with strict confidentiality.
Qualifications:
* Flexible — no specific education requirement.
* Experience in packaging, production, or lab settings is an asset.
* Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
* Comfortable working around agricultural chemicals and treated seed (training and PPE provided)
