Shipping & Receiving Associate (Warehouse)
Pay Rate: Up to $20.50/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Odessa, TX 79765
Work Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm | Night Shift: 4:00 pm – 3:00 am.
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Raise is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate (Warehouse) on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations, inventory management, and material movement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with inventory systems while maintaining accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
- Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Forklift operating experience.
- Inventory, shipping, and receiving experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
