Controls Integration Lead
- Pay Rate: $100.00/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Controls Integration Lead on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.
Description
The Controls Integration Lead in this role will optimize project and portfolio performance by driving consistency, efficiency, and integration across planning, controls, and reporting functions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring project data and reporting are aligned with business needs, systems are optimized, and teams are supported in delivering successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Standardize project intake, assessment, and setup processes.
- Monitor planning horizons and project start readiness.
- Facilitate integration between controls disciplines to improve collaboration, alignment, communication and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to project planning defining controls management plans appropriate to project size, complexity, and risk.
- Be a conduit for communication to flow between the project teams, functional controls leads, and program management.
- Analyze project performance (critical path, forecasts, milestones, resourcing) and provide insights to program management.
- Drive alignment between departmental and corporate reporting.
Qualifications
- 10 years of in progressively senior roles within Project Controls, covering multiple functions such (estimating, scheduling, cost management).
- Experience in portfolio governance, project prioritization, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration and trust.
- Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and specific project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, EcoSys).
- Expert use of scheduling, cost management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to escalate and resolve critical issues.
- Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Additional Information
- As this is a safety Sensitive Role Pre-access substance testing will be required
- Candidates in this role may be required to travel to mine sites as required for projects
