Pay Rate: Up to $16.50/hour on W2, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – West Columbia, TX 44680
Duration: 2-year contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve meals, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Experience in baking or pastry is a plus.
* Design and plan itineraries for hunting and fishing trips, utilizing your knowledge of the countryside to select the best routes and sites.
* Safely transport guests, equipment, and supplies to designated hunting and fishing areas.
* Explain hunting and fishing laws to guests to ensure compliance and safety.
* Provide guidance and instruction to guests on the use of hunting and fishing gear.
* Administer first aid to injured individuals as needed.
* Assist with the maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
* Provide care for animals as required.
* Perform job tasks effectively to support the organization's success.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in hunting, fishing, and camping within the outdoor recreation and guide industry.
* Previous experience in food handling and cooking, preferably with baking or pastry skills.
* Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
