Technicien mécanique (intermédiaire)
- Taux horaire : 35,00 $ à 41,00 $/heure, selon l’expérience

Aperçu
- Le ou la technicien(ne) est responsable de l’exécution des activités de maintenance sur les systèmes et équipements mécaniques, contribuant à la fiabilité opérationnelle et à la sécurité.
- Ce poste peut être occupé par un employé du client ou par un contractuel et relève généralement directement d’un superviseur.
- La personne titulaire du poste collabore étroitement avec des ingénieurs et d’autres membres de l’équipe afin de s’assurer que les travaux sont bien planifiés, exécutés et documentés, tout en respectant les normes de sécurité et d’exploitation.
Responsabilités
- Assister les ingénieurs mécaniques dans la planification, les essais et l’entretien des composants et équipements mécaniques, notamment moteurs, instruments, systèmes de contrôle, robotique et machinerie.
- Contribuer à la préparation de propositions et d’estimations de coûts.
- Participer activement à l’utilisation des outils et pratiques de sécurité au travail.
- Examiner les plans de travail (dossiers de tâches) avant l’exécution.
- Identifier et atténuer les risques liés à la sécurité avant le début des travaux.
- Exécuter les travaux de maintenance conformément aux plans et aux procédures établis.
- Consigner avec précision les données techniques dans les systèmes requis (ex. : Global Reliability Tool (GRT), feuilles de données).
- Fournir des rétroactions afin d’améliorer les plans de travail et les processus d’exécution.
- Demander les permis nécessaires et aviser rapidement le superviseur si ceux-ci ne sont pas délivrés dans les délais prévus.
Qualifications
- Diplôme ou certification technique pertinente dans le domaine, ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication, avec la capacité de décrire clairement les conditions sur le terrain et de recommander des solutions.
- Esprit d’équipe démontré, capacité à collaborer efficacement avec des collègues sans autorité directe.
- Capacité à s’adapter à des échéanciers serrés, à des charges de travail importantes et à des priorités changeantes.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Mechanical Technician (Intermediate)

Overview
- The Technician is responsible for executing maintenance activities across mechanical systems and equipment, supporting operational reliability and safety.
- This role may be filled by client’s employee or a contractor and typically reports directly to a supervisor.
- The Technician works closely with engineers and other team members to ensure work is planned, executed, and documented effectively while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanical engineers in planning, testing, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment, including engines, instruments, controls, robotics, and machinery.
- Support the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
- Actively participate in and utilize all on-the-job safety tools and practices.
- Review job plans (job packs) prior to execution.
- Identify and mitigate safety risks associated with assigned tasks before beginning work.
- Execute maintenance work in accordance with established plans and procedures.
- Accurately record technical history using required systems (e.g., Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheets).
- Provide feedback to improve job plans and execution processes.
- Request necessary permits and promptly notify the supervisor if permits are delayed beyond the expected timeframe.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical certification(s) in the applicable discipline or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, including collaboration without direct authority.
- Adaptability in handling tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
