Construction Management Resource Coordinator

  • Pay Rate: $33.78/hour on W2
  • Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension
  • Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Onsite) 

Raise is currently hiring a Construction Management Resource Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

  • Responsible for coordinating and aligning Construction Management & Inspection Resources to support project programs entering the construction implementation phase.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate strong partnership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex processes simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with company policies; attend meetings and work with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure vendors meet all applicable regulatory requirements for source inspection.
  • Review Vendor ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) for alignment with Project Specifications; coordinate with discipline engineering as required.
  • Manage distribution of final document packages to inspection.
  • Coordinate inspection-related RFIs and NCRs; determine resolution paths based on risk.
  • Review inspection reports and turnover packages (e.g., MTRs), escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate development of inspection checklists and other standard technical requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends in real-time.
  • Monitor KPIs and support supplier performance management (manufacturing and inspection agencies).
  • Track and provide reports as required, including test packages.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in business analysis, vendor surveillance, project coordination, and/or construction management.
  • Proven expertise in customer service or business relationship management.
  • Experience/knowledge of trade skills (Inspection), pipeline/facility practices, and shop surveillance (e.g., manufacturing process and equipment).
  • Field experience or exposure to operational/construction environments is a plus.
  • Strong business analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Military service may substitute for industry experience (MOS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) or Construction Management.
  • API 510 certification.
  • Ability to review inspection test plans, welding procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO 9001.

Additional Information

  • This position requires occasional travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training.
  • Travel may include overnight stays.
