Driver
- Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour on W2, depending on experience.
- Contract Length: 6 months contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Location: Midland, TX 79706 (Onsite – Local candidates preferred)
- Work Hours: Up to 14 hours/day | Occasionally 16 hours/day
- Shift Rotation Details: 15 days on / 6 days off
- Travel: If you are required to work in an oilfield basin away from your "home" location, you will be provided airfare to that location in most instances.
- Accommodation: While on rotation to a basin, you will be housed in a "man camp" and provided all meals there or provided hotel-based housing and a pier diem to cover meal costs.
- Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Operate various vehicles including:
- Tractor trailer units
- Body load units
- 550s with gooseneck trailers
- Hook up hoses, run air slide controls, strap loads
- Hotshot pallets of chemicals between districts
- May assist equipment operators when needed
- Not a “no-touch” driving role — physical involvement is required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.

License and Certification Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Air brakes endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Manual transmission capability required
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required.

- Hands-on, physically active role
Training
- Conducted in Kellyville:
- NEST
- HVT
- QUEST certifications
- Additional in-house and site-specific safety training
- Shadowing with experienced drivers before solo assignments
Physical Demands
- Must be able to:
- Strap loads
- Hook up hoses
- Operate trailer and body load units
- Not a sedentary or “drive-only” role
Safety
- DOT reset compliance required
- Emergency evacuation and site-specific safety training included
