Our client invites applications for one (1) Electrical Engineer position within their Water and Wastewater Group. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 8 years of experience and will contribute to a broad portfolio of infrastructure projects encompassing planning, assessments, detailed design, regulatory approvals, and construction administration for municipal, Indigenous, and private sector clients. This position may be based at any of the Ontario office locations noted above, with limited travel required for inter-office collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Water and Wastewater team, you will:

  • Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects.
  • Develop reliable and cost-effective electrical designs supporting safe and sustainable water and wastewater systems.
  • Apply technical expertise across all project phases — from studies and design to construction support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into larger project scopes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and high-quality deliverables.

Practically speaking, you will:

  • Lead the preparation of electrical design packages and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with utilities, contractors, and sub-consultants.
  • Provide construction-phase support, including shop drawing reviews and site inspections.
  • Participate in proposal preparation, cost estimating, and permitting activities.
  • Conduct facility condition assessments and recommend system upgrades.
  • Review and validate design work for compliance and accuracy.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technologists.

What you will bring:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of CEC, OESC, and National/Ontario Building Codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience considered an asset).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Preferred Experience

  • Project management experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with AGI32 or Visual lighting software.
  • Experience managing client meetings and driving projects from concept to completion.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and one additional day each week.
