Information Security Consultant
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (Every Tuesday every 2nd Friday of the month)
- Contract Length: 4 months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Identity and Access Governance—Knowledge of Identity and Access Management approaches and concepts, tools, techniques, and roles and responsibilities in providing guidance to stakeholders within and outside own area.
- Relationship Building—Facilitate coordination with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery and resolution of issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective communication and alignment on objectives.
- Strategic Thinking: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the team’s culture of accountability and continuous enhancement.
Must-Have Requirement:
- 5+ Years of Strong IAM knowledge
- 3+ years of IT compliance experience ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
- 3+ Years IT Audit Experience—Ensuring Adherence to regulatory and Organizational Standards
- 3+ years of experience in Development OR Technical experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ
- 3+ years of Experience implementing and managing robust information security practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Workday
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
- Infrastructure Layer access Controls
- Tableau or PowerBI reporting experience
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement
Soft Skills:
- Clear, audience-tailored communication; translate control/testing into business impacts and next steps; challenge assumptions diplomatically.
- Cross-functional partnership; facilitate walkthroughs/certifications; drive timely approvals, evidence collection, and remediation.
- Analytical, risk-based judgment; interpret IGA metrics/evidence, spot anomalies and root causes, and prioritize and escalate appropriately.
- Accountability and attention to detail; manage parallel deadlines, maintain audit-ready documentation, and adapt in a fast-paced hybrid setting.
