Senior SAP Architect

Job Overview
1. SAP Modules Expertise / SAP Best-Practice
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules relevant to your business (e.g., SAP Asset Management SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BW, etc.).
- Experience with SAP best practices and solution design.
- Understanding of SAP integration with other systems (middleware, APIs, EDI, etc.).
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD in SAP environments.
2. Project Implementation Experience
- Proven track record of leading or architecting SAP implementation projects (ideally full lifecycle projects).
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
- Extensive experience with SAP migrations and upgrades, including:
- Migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
- Upgrading SAP versions and components.
- Migrating SAP workloads from on-premise to cloud (SAP BTP, Azure, etc.).
- Managing data migration, system conversions, and technical cutovers.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as applied to SAP projects.
3. Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
- Experience with data migration, data modeling, and data governance in SAP.
- Ability to design custom enhancements (ABAP, SAP UI5, Fiori, etc.).
- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts.
4. Communication / Leadership
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Understanding of industry-specific processes (Energy Market, Nuclear Plants).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Qualifications:
Certifications (Preferred)
- SAP Certified Solution Architect (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP Certified Application Associate).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution design and architecture is a priority. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SAP implementation, Microsoft Azure, API management, DevOps, SCADA systems, and Pi solutions. Experience with architecture and design patterns, including microservices and MVC.
- Familiarity with transitioning from monolithic to service-based architectures and containerizing applications.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP Certification, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
