Staff Accountant I
- Pay Rate: $29-$32/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Location: Westwood MA, 02090
- Work Type: Hybrid – In-Office (Mon Tue & Wed)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Performs activities to ensure the timely and accurate payment of incentives to customers enrolled in renewable energy programs.
- Conducts customer outreach to correct or validate information required for payments, including address, banking and tax identification information.
- Supports the maintenance of accurate records of payments issued to customers.
- The Payments Specialist will be accountable for working collaboratively with business unit staff in resolving payment requirements, administering payment processes, and supporting customers enrolled in renewable energy programs.
Requirements
- Associate and bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-3 years related experience required.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills required.
- Prior accounting experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the renewable experience is a plus but not preferred.
