Technical Specialist – SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM)
- Pay Rate: $70.78/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 6 Months

Raise is currently hiring a Technical Specialist – SAP Build Work Zone & Fiori on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Technical Specialist in this role will support the design, development, and deployment of SAP user experience solutions. This role will focus on SAP Build Work Zone, UI Cards, Fiori application development, SAP Enable Now, and SAP Mobile Start to deliver intuitive, integrated, and mobile-ready experiences for end users. This position is critical for delivering a unified digital workplace experience, enabling employees to access SAP and non-SAP applications seamlessly across desktop and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- AP Build Work Zone
- Configure and customize Work Zone to deliver personalized, role-based workspaces.
- Develop and integrate UI Cards for dynamic content and actionable insights.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Fiori Application Development
- Design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.
- Optimize applications for performance, usability, and responsive design.
- Implement best practices for SAP UX and accessibility standards.
- SAP Enable Now
- Create and manage interactive learning content and in-app guidance.
- Support adoption initiatives by embedding contextual help and tutorials.
- SAP Mobile Start
- Configure and deploy SAP Mobile Start for mobile access to Fiori apps and Work Zone.
- Ensure secure and efficient mobile integration with backend systems.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Document solutions and deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions in the SAP ecosystems (SAP Build Work Zone configuration and UI Card development)
- Strong experience in SAP Build Work Zone configuration and UI Card development.
- Proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for Fiori app development.
- Hands-on experience with OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Familiarity with SAP Enable Now content creation and deployment.
- Knowledge of SAP Mobile Start setup and mobile UX principles.
- Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and integration concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
- Nice to haves:
- SAP certifications in UX or BTP-related areas.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Integration and Launchpad services.
- Exposure to mobile development frameworks and security best practices.
- Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP relevant certifications, an asset
Additional Information
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network
