Certified Fire Alarm Technician
- Ottawa, ON Territory
- $25-48 per hour dependant on experience
- Benefits, RRSP and Company Vehicle Included
- Fulltime permanent position
- Field position – travelling to client sites daily
- Must have CFAA certification, or be about to write the final exam
We are Raise, and we have partnered with our client, a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of intelligent building solutions. We are seeking multiple Certified Fire Alarm Technicians to join their busy Ottawa team immediately. What you will be doing…
- Perform Rack-up, Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipment
- Perform inspections and service on products
- Complete and return inspection reports in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to customers as needed
- Provide operational training to end-users
- Ensure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working us
- Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures
Why this is the right job for you…
- MUST have Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparable qualification
- Technicians shall have 3-5 years of experience within the Fire Alarm industry
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding
- Possess a full G Driver's License
- Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
- Must be able to consent to a background check
- Must be available for some on call work
