Technology Adoption & Innovation Specialist
- Pay Rate: $ 37.59/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Technology Adoption & Innovation Specialist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.
Description
The Technology Adoption & Innovation Specialist in this role will drive organizational literacy and successful deployment of key technology platforms, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Microsoft 365 (M365). This role will combine elements of business analysis, instructional design, and marketing to ensure technologies are understood, adopted, and utilized effectively across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- AI Organizational Literacy: Drive and implement programs and initiatives to enhance organizational understanding and literacy of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, capabilities, and ethical considerations.
- Technology Rollout & Adoption: Lead the rollout and adoption efforts for Copilot (and other AI components), M365 applications, and other strategic technology platforms.
- Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to promote the value and features of new technologies to various internal stakeholder groups.
- Create high-quality instructional documentation, including articles, video tutorials, and guides, tailored to different user proficiency levels to ensure successful adoption and utilization.
- Instructional Design & Content Creation: Utilize instructional design principles to structure and produce engaging, effective learning content and documentation that supports the adoption of new technologies.
- Business Analysis & Documentation: Accountable for gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements for small IT projects, or partnering with senior resources on medium/large projects.
- Produce high-quality project documentation such as Process Impact Assessments, Process Maps and Designs, Business Requirements, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Liaise with internal teams and vendors on data migration and system interface activities.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist with testing activities, including the creation of test documentation such as Test Plans and Test Scenarios/Scripts, to ensure technology solutions meet documented business requirements.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide ongoing clarification and support to user experience, development, training, and testing teams to ensure correct interpretation of business requirements and process design.
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager with planning activities and support Change Management/Training Leads with communications, stakeholder analysis, change management approach, training, and roll-out activities.
Qualifications
- 2 years of working experience as a Business Analyst in small to medium technology-related projects in a complex enterprise environment or equivalent.
- Proven experience in marketing, communication, or change management activities related to technology adoption.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design and producing high-quality multimedia and written documentation (e.g., articles, videos).
- Marketing & Business Analysis Skills: Excellent ability to analyze business needs, translate them into requirements, and market solutions effectively to drive adoption.
- Instructional Design Skills: Strong capability in structuring information and creating effective learning materials.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Communications, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills for a professional environment (written and spoken) and excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of the business domain and how technology solutions meet business objectives.
Additional Information
Candidats in this role will be working a hybrid schedule of at least 2 days in the office
Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
