Senior Product Manager – Identity & Access Management (Okta/Auth0)

Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Okta and Auth0 platforms.
- Align IAM initiatives with enterprise security strategy and business priorities.
- Prioritize product enhancements based on business value, technical complexity, and risk.
- Develop product roadmaps, product charters, executive presentations, and supporting documentation.
Technical Leadership
- Participate in architecture discussions and solution design reviews.
- Assess technical approaches and collaborate with architects and engineering teams to determine delivery priorities.
- Triage incoming product and technical requests, helping resolve the majority of technical inquiries to improve delivery efficiency.
- Understand identity architecture patterns and make informed product decisions based on technical feasibility.
- Support modernization initiatives as the organization transitions from legacy IAM platforms to Okta/Auth0.
Product Delivery
- Lead Agile ceremonies including stand-ups and backlog refinement.
- Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Security teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure successful delivery of product initiatives while balancing business and technical priorities.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business stakeholders, engineering leaders, architects, security teams, and executives.
- Facilitate discussions to resolve competing priorities and align on product direction.
- Communicate roadmap updates, delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure IAM solutions comply with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Information Security teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Support governance around authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and access controls.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor KPIs measuring platform adoption, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Analyze usage data and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous optimization of IAM products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience with enterprise technology products.
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta and Auth0 platforms.
- Deep understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts.
- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols including:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- SAML
- Experience partnering with architecture and engineering teams on complex technical initiatives.
- Ability to participate confidently in technical design discussions and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
- Okta and/or Auth0 Certifications.
- Experience leading enterprise IAM modernization or migration programs.
- Knowledge of cloud identity platforms and enterprise security architecture.
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Auth0 Certified Developer certifications are considered an asset.
