Senior Marketing Advisor

Job Overview:
- Join the Marketing and Customer Insights team and play a key role within the Marketing Centre of Excellence for Enbridge Gas Distribution & Storage (GDS). In this highly visible role, you will lead strategic marketing and communications initiatives across key U.S. jurisdictions, with a primary focus on Utah and Ohio.
- As a Senior Advisor, Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that support key business objectives, customer engagement, regulatory requirements, and organizational growth. You will lead end-to-end campaign planning, implementation, measurement, and optimization for both B2C and B2B audiences, while serving as a trusted advisor to business partners and stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives, customer needs, and stakeholder priorities, leveraging research, customer insights, and performance data to drive measurable results.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to internal stakeholders by translating business goals into actionable marketing and communications plans that deliver impact and value.
- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring effective prioritization, execution excellence, and timely delivery of initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of marketing operations, including budgeting, procurement, contract administration, invoice processing, and resource coordination to support efficient program delivery.
- Analyze campaign and program performance, leveraging data and analytics to evaluate effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and inform future marketing strategies.
- Identify and champion innovative marketing approaches, process improvements, and cross-functional opportunities that enhance organizational capabilities and deliver greater business value.
- Oversee the development and delivery of marketing and communications materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards, messaging frameworks, and corporate objectives.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative, media, digital, and omnichannel marketing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements governing marketing and communications activities within Utah and Ohio, including audit readiness and reporting obligations.
- Monitor emerging market trends, customer expectations, communications best practices, and marketing technologies, recommending and implementing new tools, channels, and approaches to strengthen customer engagement and business outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, brand management, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing external creative agencies and strategic vendor partnerships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across complex organizational structures.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, enterprise-wide perspective.
- Results-oriented problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to combine creative thinking and data-driven insights to achieve business objectives.
- Highly structured and strategic thinker with the ability to simplify ambiguity, establish priorities, and create actionable roadmaps.
- Demonstrated success influencing without direct authority and effectively engaging senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Knowledge of Gas Inc. energy conservation programs and jurisdiction-specific regulatory and safety communication requirements.
- Experience working within the energy sector or another highly regulated industry.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and measuring marketing strategies that deliver quantifiable business results.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based environment with a hybrid work approach, where applicable.
- Approximately 20% travel required. Travel may include visits to Ontario and various U.S. utility locations to support stakeholder engagement, program delivery, and business initiatives.
Physical Requirements
