Major capital programs generate major procurement activity. When a refurbishment program is valued at tens of billions of dollars, and a construction project is driving hundreds of millions in annual supply chain spend, the procurement and supply chain professionals supporting those programs are not in the background — they are central to delivery. Ontario's nuclear sector is at the start of one of its most active procurement periods in decades, and the demand for experienced supply chain professionals is real.
Raise is building a pipeline of Supply Chain and Procurement professionals for contract and permanent opportunities with a leading enterprise organization in Ontario's energy sector. This is not a live posting for a single role. Apply once, and we will reach out when a role matches your background.
About the Opportunity
The Pickering Refurbishment is a $26.8 billion program. The Darlington SMR is expected to drive $500 million annually into Ontario's supply chain. Both programs require skilled procurement professionals who can manage technically complex sourcing activities — engineered equipment, EPC contracts, construction services, technical services — and who understand the quality and compliance requirements of a regulated environment. In addition, the organization's ongoing operations and digital modernization program generate a steady stream of procurement and contract management work across IT, professional services, and corporate functions.

- Managing end-to-end procurement processes for goods, services, and construction contracts
- Developing procurement strategies, RFx documents, and contract structures
- Evaluating bids, negotiating terms, and recommending contract awards
- Administering contracts through execution, including change management, claims, and closeout
- Managing supplier relationships and monitoring vendor performance against KPIs

- Strong understanding of the full procurement lifecycle from strategy through closeout
- Supply chain certifications such as SCMP, CPSM, or equivalent are assets
- Legal, paralegal, or contract management training is an asset for contract-focused roles
Why Apply Now
Both the refurbishment program and the SMR construction are entering phases where supply chain activity is accelerating. Experience in nuclear, utilities, large infrastructure, construction, or industrial procurement is a strong asset. Candidates familiar with Ontario's Construction Act or with experience in government or regulated procurement environments are especially encouraged to apply.
