In the role of Supply Chain Management Indigenous Engagement Student Analyst, you will facilitate, track, report, and maintain Work Orders with Indigenous businesses throughout Enbridge, primarily as it relates to economic opportunities afforded to Indigenous community businesses and partnerships within Canada and the US. Also, you will assists in Request For Proposal (RFP) evaluations, engages with Indigenous communities from an economic perspective and is an active and constructive liaison with Project execution teams and Liquid Pipeline (LP) and Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) Projects and Operations.
Placement Details:
This is a 5 month work term starting in October 2026, located in Calgary, AB.
What you will do:
• Provide support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Indigenous Engagement team in vendor prequalification based on Enbridge’s safety, quality, financial, and technical components (including, but not limited to, new vendor set-ups, pre-qualification requests and tracking, ISNetworld review, and facilitation, etc.).
• Assist in coordination of RFP proposal review and comment to multiple Enbridge teams that the SCM Indigenous Engagement team may support.
• Support the SCM Indigenous Engagement team by placing Work Orders with Indigenous businesses.
• Ensure a high level of scrutiny and ethics is maintained through the contracting process.
• Complete contracting processes, ensuring conformance with Company governance, legal and audit requirements, utilizing policies and industry best practices.
• Assist with problem solving and issues as they may arise from time to time once work is being executed.
• Assist with reporting, monitoring, and analysis of Indigenous spend activities as directed.
• Assist in the invoice payment process to support on time Invoice payment to Indigenous suppliers.
• Maintain current Indigenous supplier databases and assist with tracking contractor performance.
• Enhance Indigenous spend reporting and ensure suppliers understand and use the form.
• Identify and remove barriers to assigned processes.
• Provide process/system improvement recommendations.
• Complete other tasks and duties associated with SCM Indigenous Engagement activities as directed by the Manager SCM Indigenous Engagement.
Who you are:
• You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business, Supply Chain Management, Native Studies, Corporate Responsibility or other related field, with prior experience in the energy or affiliated industry, and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
• Knowledge or past relationships with Indigenous businesses or communities.
• Advanced skills with MS Excel and Oracle or accounting systems
• Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
Working Conditions:
• Office based role, located in Calgary, AB.
• 30-40 hours per week, based on students’ course load (40 hours preferred).
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
