We’re Hiring! Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have a Client Services Senior Project Manager role on the team.
Pay Rate: $45 – $75/hour on W2, based on experience
Work Type: Remote – 50 miles within Approved Hub Locations
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET (must be open to overtime)
Training Schedule: On the job training during their shift.
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Job Overview:
Client’s Senior Project Managers oversee project execution for Remediation and/or Class Action administration work. Senior Project Managers are the face of client’s operations to our clients. Internally, they coordinate with our sales representatives, data analysts, web developers, call center supervisors/managers, disbursement specialists, claims analysts and a host of other personnel to ensure project deliverables are met. The position requires considerable judgment and latitude in performing job duties, with minimal to moderate direct supervision. This position will oversee one or more Project Coordinators in the Client Services department, and potentially oversee one or more Associate Project Managers, Supervisors, and Project Attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Financial Requirements
* Provide timely and accurate budget/estimate review and management; monthly revenue forecasting; and in-depth monthly invoice review.
* Provide guidance to peer PMs to ensure the accuracy of project forecasts and invoice review.
* Project Execution & Resource Management
* Continually monitor, evaluate, and guide project staff to meet project deliverables on time, within budget and at the highest quality standards.
* Effectively delegate tasks and duties to the project team and ensure assignments are completed. This includes requests and assignments sent to the Project Management distribution list.
* Sr. PMs should take ownership of these requests and work with the PM team to ensure completion of requests by the required deadline.
* Staff Development
* Consistently apply performance standards and training to develop staff and build a high performing team of industry experts, passionate people managers, critical thinkers, and strong problem solvers
* Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently.
* Internal Communication Strategy
* Sr. PMs should develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team.
* Process Improvements
* Sr. PMs should consistently look for ways to improve Epiq processes and procedures to deliver services more profitably to our clients.
* Build and implement or socialize the best practices for performing all tasks.
* Partner with business leaders to understand their processes and how they can be streamlined in a way that enhances controls, creates efficiencies and drive business growth.
* Economic Objectives
* Sr. PMs are expected to meet billable hour goals and oversee that similar targets are met for their direct reports.
Top 10 Required Skills:
* 8+ years of Sr. PM experience managing complex eDiscovery matters across the full EDRM lifecycle, including collection, processing, review, analytics, and production.
* Strong knowledge of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including collection, processing, review, analytics, and production.
* Significant hands-on experience with Relativity and/or RelativityOne, including review workflows, productions, searches, analytics, and related platform functionality.
* Experience managing litigation, investigations, regulatory, or compliance matters.
* Proven project management experience, including managing client-facing projects, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
* The ability to coordinate effectively across legal teams, clients, and technical resources.
* Strong client-facing consulting skills, advising legal teams on defensible workflows, analytics, review optimization, and AI adoption.
* Experience implementing AI-driven eDiscovery workflows, including Relativity aiR, Active Learning/TAR, and generative AI review technologies.
* Tech Skills (Strong computer skills, ability to use tech heavy applications in the course of doing the job and comfortable using Microsoft Office)
* ***Bonus*** Proven leadership managing large-scale eDiscovery projects, cross-functional teams, and enterprise clients.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s degree in management or other relevant industry experience is preferred.
* A Juris Doctorate (JD) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced degree is preferred.
* Extensive project management and client experience is required.
* Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred.
* Strong technical orientation, excellent computer skills, exceptional planning and organizational skills, critical thinking and a keen attention to detail are all required.
* A combination of practical and intellectual skills including but not limited to;
* the ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses, hands-on projects, project management and team management
* proactive project planning with an eye for necessary trade off’s contingency planning; successfully manage multiple and shifting priorities
* delegation to team members to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope and meets quality standards.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to clearly articulate complex project details to both clients and internal partners.
* Candidates with prior banking or financial service industry experience will be strongly preferred.
