Materials Coordinator

  • Pay Rate: $25 – $29/hour (on W2)
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Location: Portland, OR 97231

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the purchasing needs of the operation including, but not limited to, requesting Purchase Orders, verifying invoices, purchasing materials, completing expense reports, and relevant troubleshooting.
  • Maintains awareness of product inventory in the facility and actively interacts with customers, customer service, planning, logistics, and operations to ensure customer orders are updated and fulfilled as scheduled.
  • Acts as a key link between site maintenance/operations and financial/accounting requirements, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Responsible for upholding compliance with corporate control standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Supports the implementation and continuous improvement of company programs related to safety, health, environmental compliance, and site security.

Qualifications

  • Broad SAP knowledge preferred, including experience navigating inventory management modules, posting transactions, and validating system-to-physical variances
  • Organization skills, with the ability to track material replenishment and customer order requests to ensure material flows through the facility to meet customer needs
  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot invoicing issues and prioritize customer requests
  • Basic Excel proficiency
