Job Overview
- Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications
- Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation
- Review schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic and instrumentation documents
- Assist with equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, project and site teams
- Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years I&C engineering or design experience, preferably within the nuclear industry
- DE and DTL qualifications will be an asset
- Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, design documentation and plant-modification requirements
- Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
