Material Handler I
- Pay Rate: $21/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Location: Irvine, CA 92618 (Oniste)
- Work Hours: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
Our client is looking for a Material Handler I, who’s overall objectives of the position is working in a warehouse environment.
In this position, you will be processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials utilizing SAP; inspect for damage, verify quantity, and correct paperwork.
- Process material to be shipped to customers around the world.
- Stock materials and pull materials from stock.
- Ensure materials for shipment are packaged properly.
- Locate and count materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.
- Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing and flexible to work any area in Materials as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
- Valid Driver License.
- 2+ years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
- 2+ years of Warehouse, Logistics, or similar experience.
- 1+ year of ERP experience.
- 2+ years of Excel / Word experience.
Special Position Requirements
- 1+ year of SAP experience.
- 5+ years of Excel experience.
- 2+ years of inventory control, loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of shipping & receiving experience.
