Material Handler I
Pay Rate: Up to $25.00/hour, depending on experience.
Duration: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Shift Details: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with occasional longer hours during high workload | 40-hrs
Responsibilities:
- Assists in bulk loading, material delivery/loading, & packing.
- Adheres to HSE guidelines and observes all safety rules and procedures.
- Assist in loading barges/Bulk Trucks, Railcars, w/ requested grade and net weight required.
- Load packaged material and complete necessary paperwork.
- Run Forklift to load/unload trucks
- Loads/unloads flatbeds, railcars, trucks, and van trailers.
Qualifications:
- Skills are typically acquired through completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Having a CDL is an added bonus.
- Responsive to phone calls and willing to work extra hours when needed.
- Follows all safety rules and keeps efficiency in mind.
- Motivated, hardworking, and a great team player.
- Always shows up on time and has dependable attendance.
