FinOps Analyst

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
You help a global energy company get full value from its enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, including SAP. You track where the money goes, build the cost models leaders rely on, and find ways to spend less. You partner with teams across the business to set up cost frameworks, reporting, and governance standards. Success means clear cost visibility, owners who know what they spend, and savings backed by your data.
Responsibilities
- Track technology usage, spending trends, budgets, forecasts, and renewals across ERP platforms.
- Build cost models that show the true cost of ERP hosting, licensing, infrastructure, support, and managed services.
- Analyze ERP costs, usage, licensing, support models, and application portfolios to find savings.
- Build and maintain showback reports so each team sees what it spends.
- Create total cost of ownership (TCO) and business value analyses for ERP investments.
- Set up financial controls that meet governance, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Build executive dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and financial reports.
- Help set up and grow Financial Operations (FinOps) practices across SAP and key third-party providers.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in ERP management, IT financial management, FinOps, technology governance, or enterprise portfolio management.
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Experience building executive reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with cloud financial management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional English.
- Based in Brazil.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner, FinOps Certified Professional, or an equivalent certification.
- Hands-on experience with SAP for Me (SAP4Me), SAM4U, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Snow Optimizer for SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cockpit, RISE with SAP, or Power BI.
