Location: Houston, TX 77002
Work Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Duration: 4-month contract (with possible extension and/or conversion)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Principal Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning, specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), and Generative AI. This role involves designing, developing, training, and deploying advanced AI models using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will transform complex data insights into actionable business strategies while collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models.
* Build AI solutions leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, model fine-tuning, and inference optimization.
* Translate complex data science concepts into actionable business insights.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to drive measurable business value.
* Create clear presentations and dashboards to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
* Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), and Generative AI.
* Broad expertise across AI and Machine Learning disciplines.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
* Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics) is preferred.
* Hands-on experience with deep learning and generative AI is preferred.
* Have a broad AI expertise, including:
* Deep learning
* Generative AI
* Computer vision
* Natural language processing
* Proven ability to collaborate with business owners and stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Passion for solving complex problems using AI and data.
* Ability to drive projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment.
* Understand how AI/ML solutions support business goals.
* Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
