Raise is currently hiring a Identity Governance Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Description
The Identity Governance Coordinator in this role will spearhead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) framework. In this role, you will be the primary driver for role discovery, Segregation of Duties (Segregation of Duties) controls, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) automation. You will bridge the gap between technical identity platforms (Okta, ServiceNow, Active Directory) and business-unit requirements to ensure a secure, compliant, and efficient access lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- RBAC Strategy & Governance Design & Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise RBAC strategy and governance model tailored to Segregation of Duties’ unique business units and applications.
- Role Engineering: Lead data-driven role mining activities to define business roles, IT roles, and "birthright" access entitlements.
- Compliance & Segregation of Duties: Establish Segregation of Duties (Segregation of Duties) policies and conflict matrices; design mitigating controls and formal exception workflows to meet audit standards.
- Technical Integration & Automation
- Lifecycle Automation: Lead the integration of IGA platforms with authoritative HRIS sources and target systems to automate JML processes.
- Platform Leadership: Direct the configuration of Okta Identity Governance, Active Directory, and ServiceNow to support policy-driven governance.
- Change Management & Enablement Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with business and application owners to validate role models and ensure operational buy-in.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality runbooks, RACI charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and formal handovers to Segregation of Duties IT and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) teams to ensure long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or IGA.
- 3+ years of dedicated focus on enterprise-scale RBAC implementations.
- Proven track record of leading at least one full-lifecycle RBAC rollout in a regulated environment (e.g., Energy, Mining, Finance).
- Hands-on expertise with Okta Identity Governance, ServiceNow, and Active Directory.
- Experience with SAP GRC or managing complex Segregation of Duties frameworks within ERP environments.

- Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business is required.
- Professional Certifications: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or Okta certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Professional/Administrator) are highly preferred.
- Superior facilitation and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical security requirements into business-friendly language.
