- Competitive salary with access to health and dental benefits
We’re Raise, and we’ve joined forces with our client Accerta, who are looking to hire a Manager, Administrative Services as soon as possible.
Accerta Services Inc, is a B Corp-certified social enterprise enabling healthcare equality for all. As a social enterprise, they manage dental, vision, drug, and healthcare benefits programs exclusively for government and social services agencies in Canada. Their targeted experience and innovative technology provide cost savings, reliable service, process continuity, and accurate, insightful data that enables governments to make informed strategic decisions, reducing stress on the healthcare system through streamlined administration.
As the Manager, Administrative Services, you’ll be responsible for leading teams that deliver enrollment, eligibility administration, provider and partner record administration, and related administrative workflows across multiple programs administered by Accerta. This role ensures work is completed accurately and on time in a high-volume, detail-intensive environment where administrative accuracy directly affects program access, eligibility decisions, and the integrity of records used by downstream teams (including claims processing, operational reviews, reporting, contact center support, and program payments)
Aligned with Accerta’s commitment as a certified B Corporation, this role supports Accerta’s social purpose by strengthening the reliability and transparency of administrative processes that enable equitable access to publicly funded services. The Manager reinforces B Corp principles of accountability, transparency, equity, and social purpose through consistent application of program rules, strong documentation practices, accurate data stewardship, and service delivery that is respectful and fair to clients, providers, and partners.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Manage escalations related to eligibility, enrollment, provider records, and administrative issues, recommending practical resolutions and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes, mitigate operational risk, and support effective change adoption.
- Prepare and deliver regular reporting to leadership on operational performance, risks, compliance issues, and improvement actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Details:
This is a full-time position offering a hybrid work model that blends remote work with planned in-office days. You will be required to visit the Toronto office twice a month at a minimum. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team. While enjoying the flexibility of working from home, the work schedule is Monday through Friday, core business hours.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading internal administrative operations teams, including direct leadership of Team Leads/frontline staff and demonstrated success managing large teams (20+ staff), with a leadership approach grounded in accountability and clear performance expectations.
- Proven ability to lead teams through change while maintaining service standards in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, using transparent communication and consistent process adherence to support fair and reliable outcomes.
- Experience in healthcare and/or government-funded program administration preferred; insurance/benefits administration experience is an asset—paired with an ability to apply program rules consistently to support equity in access to services.
- Strong operational and financial acumen, including ability to interpret KPIs/SLAs, analyze trends, and apply quality controls that strengthen accuracy, compliance, and audit-ready documentation (supporting B Corp expectations for accountability and transparency).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM/case management systems, with the ability to learn and manage multiple operational platforms and workflows while maintaining strong data stewardship that supports Accerta’s social purpose in delivering publicly funded programs.
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
A condition of employment is that you must clear an enhanced criminal background and vulnerable sector check.
