Document Control Administrator

We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding a Document Control Administrator to their team.

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Type: Onsite – Houston, TX 77072
Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Information: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required

Job Overview:

The Document Control Manager/Admin is responsible for maintaining, organizing and updating document records for Company, as well as processing all project deliverables in a timely and efficient manner between Company, Client, and Vendors.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver documentation to field or plant operations on time and in accordance with company standards.
* Execute safe, accurate, and on-time delivery of documentation to internal and external customers.
* Develop internal and external customer contacts to gather service quality feedback and devise improvement strategies.
* Lead continual improvement initiatives related to authoring, standards, methodologies, business systems, and publishing software.
* Develop and sustain required documentation, related business systems, and training.
* Manage the flow of correspondence in and out of the company through proper transmittals.
* Ensure outgoing documents are accurate, comply with company standards and policies, and are routed to the correct associates.
* Protect and secure confidential and proprietary information.
* Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
* Train and support project participants on document control tools.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of a High School Diploma plus at least 3 years of Document Control management experience.
* Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to process management, compliance, or coordination (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, Quality Assurance, or Human Resources) is preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in project document control management.
* 3-5 years of document control experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, or oilfield services environments is preferred.
* Spanish language proficiency.
* Strong attention to detail (mandatory).
* Ability to analyze data and draw accurate conclusions.
* Ability to follow procedures with precision.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
