Raise is currently hiring a Field Project Manager on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection

Description 

The Field Project Manager in this role will lead non-routine maintenance projects within our industrial operations. You will be the central point of contact for the project lifecycle—from initial scope definition and budgeting to site construction and final commissioning. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, logistical coordination, and a relentless focus on safety and risk management in a high-stakes industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Project Initiation & Planning: Gather requirements from stakeholders to define scope, quality standards, and schedules. Build comprehensive project plans and prepare formal funding requests.
  • Financial Management: Work with Supply Chain and external vendors to determine budget pricing. Manage project financials throughout the lifecycle to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to approved budgets.
  • Execution & Coordination: * Prepare detailed Scopes of Work (SOW).
  • Act as the bridge between engineering teams, vendors, and site construction/commissioning crews.
  • Oversee project team performance and vendor deliverables.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress against milestones and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Safety & Risk: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure all field activities strictly adhere to ’s safety standards and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate (4-9 yrs) or Senior (10+yrs) of experience in project planning and execution leading complex industrial projects.
  • Proven experience in industrial or maintenance project environments.
  • Experince with Preparing detailed Scopes of Work (SOW).
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Project for scheduling.
  • Experience with SAP for project tracking or financial management is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical details to both tradespeople and executive management
  • Education and Skills 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR
  • Diploma in Engineering Technology (Technologist Certification) OR
  • A combination of Journeyperson Trade Certification and significant project leadership experience.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation is highly preferred.

Additional Information

  • As this is a safety Sensitive Role Pre-access substance testing will be required
