Position – Business Finance Manager
Pay Rate: $80K – $90K USD Yearly
Location: Princeton, NJ

About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Manager with strong expertise in pharmaceutical financial planning & analysis, product forecasting, and financial modeling. This role involves assisting the CFO in monthly reporting of performance; partnering with R&D Project Management and Manufacturing, to monitor R&D spend and manufacturing performance; supporting strategic and investment in future growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis
– Prepare monthly business finance reports
– Assist in preparation of monthly review meeting material for Operations review and Board presentations
– Lead medium and long-term financial planning with updates based on market conditions
– Work with Supply Chain on inventory planning and assist in achieving working capital / cash management targets
2. Pipeline & Project Valuation
– Develop and maintain product-wise forecasts for R&D and pipeline assets.
– Build business cases for pipeline assets, in-licensing opportunities, and acquisitions including evaluating ROI, NPV, IRR, payback, and other financial metrics.
– Maintain scenario models reflecting competitive and regulatory changes.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Work with Manufacturing and R&D to ensure alignment of P&L performance with budgets.
– Monitor efficiency initiatives to ensure savings are reflected in financials.
– Support international business expansion with pricing and partnership modeling.
4. Other Responsibilities
– Lead special projects designated by the CFO.
– Enhance financial processes and modeling frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
– Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting – MBA preferred.
– 3-5 years of experience in business finance, corporate finance, or FP&A, ideally in pharma.
– Expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting, pipeline valuation, and product economics.
– Advanced financial modeling skills.
– Strong analytical and communication skills.
