- Pay Rate: $62.69/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 Year

Raise is currently hiring a Project Manager on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Project Manager in this role will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of low-to-medium risk business process change and data-driven projects. You will ensure projects are completed safely, with high quality, on budget, and on schedule. This role sits at the intersection of traditional project management and advanced data analytics, requiring a candidate who can turn complex data into actionable business improvements.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Plan, direct, and report on project activities. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement process changes, consistently monitoring benefits, resources, and timelines.
- Risk & Documentation: Develop comprehensive project and risk management plans. You will maintain rigorous documentation, including action logs, communication plans, and post-implementation reviews.
- Process Optimization: Map and redesign business processes to drive operational efficiency. You will lead internal process improvements across various departments.
- Data Synthesis: Leverage advanced analytics to monitor project health and business needs. You will translate complex datasets into clear visual insights for leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners through regular reporting and high-impact presentations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience leading internal process improvements across teams/departments.
- Experience in advanced data analytics (Tableau, SAS, SAP, Excel).
- Experience mapping and redesigning business processes to improve efficiency.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to turn data into clear visual insights.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to change, and handle multiple priorities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI).
- Nice‑to‑Haves (Assets)
- Experience with SAP BW.
- Knowledge of SAS data preparation.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and basic scheduling.
- Understanding of advanced statistics and enterprise databases.
- Knowledge of project/contract management lifecycles.
- Professional designation in Engineering, Business, or related.
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines in Generation, Distribution, or Transmission.
- Skills in Power BI, Python, SQL, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strategic mindset with interest in innovation and continuous learning.
- Education and Certifications
- Post‑secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related.
- PMP® (Project Management Professional)
Additional Information
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
