Senior UX Researcher
- Pay Rate: $94.00 – $96.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- The Lead UX Researcher will partner with UX design, strategy and product teams on a variety of projects that address key moments in the customer journey.
- Through supporting methodologies such as interviews, surveys, mixed-method studies, usability, and piloting new qualitative techniques, the lead UX Researcher will partner with UX Designers to collect, synthesize, and report on new customer learnings.
- The Lead UX Researcher will work to figure out the ‘why’ behind customer behavior to better inform product initiatives.
- They advocate for the user through rigorous analysis to interpret that voice for better product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX research and testing
- Create research and testing scripts
- Support the creation of research and testing analysis and reports
- Synthesize customer feedback in the form of user observations
- Archive test findings and video recordings
- Find opportunities for generative research and execute self-driven research plans
- Be an active participant in the creation and influence of product roadmaps by being able to connect customer pain points and opportunities to known business objectives
- Contribute to the evolution of UX strategy and research within UX team and with our interdisciplinary partners
- Create research presentations and papers for wider organization distribution
Qualifications
- Extensive experience interviewing users in a one-on-one context.
- Familiarity with remote testing tools
- Has experience synthesizing business objectives with customer needs to make forward looking recommendations for product improvements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Does not easily get frustrated
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. in a program with relation to Usability, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors or similar. Masters is preferred
- 3–5+ years professional experience
