Field Service Specialist
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Bakersfield, CA 93308
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Overtime | 40-hours a week
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring a Field Service Specialist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- The Field Service Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation.
- Repair and maintenance of the Company's valves and actuation.
- Trouble-shooting situations as required.
- Willingness to promote the product and service line.
- Ensure procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 to 5 years related field experience.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage.
- Ability to obtain TWIC card.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ability.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to travel to remote locations.
- Ability to work extended irregular work hours.
- Good general attitude towards job duties.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety.
