We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding a Material Coordinator I to their team.
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Lafayette, LA 70507
Work Schedule: Night Shift: 4:00 pm – 2:00 am | Monday – Thursday | 10-hour with Overtime and weekends.
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
* Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
* Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
* Prior Experience with Overhead Crane and Forklift a Plus – Training will be provided.
* Understanding of overhead crane operations.
* Proficiency with machinery and tools, including basic packaging/crating tools and rigging.
* Competency in operating powered industrial trucks.
