Job Overview
The Intermediate Energy Trading Systems Developer in TIS Systems provides functional and technical support for the MRM application suite, including associated processes and systems. Applications include Openlink Endur. This role operates in a fast-paced corporate environment and requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver across multiple workstreams. Candidates with Enterprise Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) experience, along with Business Analyst and Development skills, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in delivery of projects within the MRM Systems portfolio, ensuring scope, business requirements, testing, and solution quality achieve intended outcomes.
* Partner and coordinate with vendor partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
* Document and provide input on solutions/project estimates for business-specific solutions.
* Engage with cross-functional program teams, internal and external technical partners, vendors, and consultants as required.
* Provide front-line application support to Enterprise Commodity, Risk, and Settlement clients in their daily use of client systems.
* Support ongoing analysis to modernize and simplify the MRM applications and technology portfolio.
* Communicate with business clients regarding MRM systems availability, functionality, and processes.
* Liaise with IT service providers (e.g., AMS, Database Administrators, Storage, Networking) to assist in implementing programmed solutions.
* Provide analysis, support, and coordination to meet enterprise user needs and maximize MRM Systems effectiveness.
* Proactively identify potential areas of improvement or opportunities and recommend solutions to management.
* Utilize technical knowledge and demonstrate application capabilities to support the suite of ETRM systems.
Qualifications
* 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT processes, business management, and/or project management.
* Experience supporting Commodity Marketing, Risk Management, and Settlement functions is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of IT, Commodity Marketing, and/or Risk Management theories, principles, and operational practices.
* Previous experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend business requirements and provide comprehensive recommendations that influence project outcomes.
* Strong aptitude and communication skills to lead independently and work autonomously.
* Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, facilitate, and lead change.
* Working knowledge of Openlink Endur/Findur preferred; experience with Allegro, Eka, or Right Angle is an asset.
