  • Pay Rate: $27.60/hour, depending on experience
  • Contract Length: 1 Year, with the possibility of an extension

Raise is currently hiring a Recruitment Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Recruitment Coordinator in this role will join our client’s talent acquisition team. This role is essential to the delivery of seamless hiring experiences across a large utility provider. You will act as the operational backbone for Recruitment Partners (RPs), ensuring that the high-volume hiring lifecycle—from job posting to onboarding—is executed with precision, compliance, and a high level of candidate care.

Responsibilities

  • Interview Coordination & Candidate Management
  • Scheduling: Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating and scheduling complex, high-volume candidate interviews across multiple time zones and departments.
  • Testing & Assessments: Conduct and facilitate candidate testing, medical results tracking, and assessment sessions as required.
  • Candidate Experience: Serve as the "first responder" for applicant inquiries, providing timely follow-up and researching information to resolve candidate questions.
  • Logistics: Coordinate candidate travel when necessary and manage the processing of required reimbursements.
  • Operational & Administrative Support
  • Job Postings: Execute legally compliant role postings to various internet and print sites. Manage the lifecycle of these postings by performing refreshes or removals to maximize ROI.
  • Screening & Documentation: Assist with initial applicant screening using established scripts. Confirm candidate eligibility (e.g., "Time in Role" requirements).
  • Process Integrity: Manage background checks, reference checks, and the collection of necessary hiring documentation to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Financial Administration: Handle invoicing tasks and expense tracking related to recruitment activities.
  • Strategic Enablement
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide regular updates to hiring managers and Recruitment Partners to facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in and facilitate work related to process standardization and recruitment optimization.
  • Reporting: Maintain clear and concise communications with the team regarding the status of the applicant pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in coordinating interviews within a fast-paced or corporate environment, with Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workflows while engaging with multiple stakeholders (candidates, managers, and vendors).
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and administrative tools.
  • Direct experience managing invoicing and financial administrative tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate professional group presentations.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience supporting recruitment within a unionized workforce.
  • Education and Certifications
  • CPHR or progress toward a CHRP/CPHR designation. (nice to have)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field (nice to have)

Additional Information

  • Candidates in this role will be working a Hybrid Schedule with at least  2 days in the office)
  • Possibility of extension depending on the volume of work and the right candidate
  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
