Pay: $96.00 – $120.00/hour on W2
Work Type: Onsite – Spring, TX 77389
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension
Job Overview:
* Responsible for integrating and maintaining resource, value and schedule controls across a program of work comprised of multiple interdependent projects.
* The role ensures alignment between scope, schedule, anticipated/projected/delivered value, enabling informed decision-making and proactive management and governance of the program’s performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serves as a champion for improving project velocity and value delivery.
* Uses critical thinking to influence schedule and value delivery.
* Manages and reports on project milestones and stewards individual project managers’ performance on schedule adherence and value capture.
* Oversees project governance activities, including stakeholder meetings, gating processes, communication efforts and liaises with Performance Planner on Program activities.
* Establishes and stewards traditional cost/schedule controls processes (Management of Change, monthly value capture report preparation, etc.) and liaises with Performance Planner on F&O process to ensure project value is reflected at program level.
* Engages with project management tool (SmartSheets) to build visualizations to support project stewardship.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management.
* 5+ years of previous experience in closely related positions (project management, execution, etc.)
* Fluent in project management software with proven ability to quickly come up to speed on SmartSheets (our chosen tool)
