Raise is currently hiring a Project Coordinator – Safety on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable

Description

The Project Coordinator in this role will provide critical coordination, administrative, and data support for a diverse portfolio of capital projects. As part of our Project Delivery Group, you will be the backbone of day-to-day operations—managing documentation, enabling efficient workflows, and ensuring that project data is accurate and accessible.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement in project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Support: Assist Project Managers in developing tactical project plans to ensure work is completed safely, with quality, and on schedule.
  • Data & Reporting: Support data tracking and analysis using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other M365 tools. Deliver progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Document Management: Maintain organized digital workspaces (SharePoint) to ensure easy retrieval, version control, and safeguarding of project records in accordance with  standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a central point of communication for internal and external stakeholders, managing requests and responding professionally using ’s business communication guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to workflow automation and continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes and helping to develop new work standards.
  • Monitoring & Tracking: Keep Project Managers apprised of status by tracking tasks, adjusting schedules as directed, and monitoring resource allocation..   

Required

  • 4 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or project support.
  • Experience managing "controlled documents" or using specific version-control protocols to ensure data integrity across a project’s lifecycle.
  • Advanced Data Visualization & Reporting – creating automated reports or Power BI dashboards that tracked KPIs, budget variances, or safety incident trends.
  • Digital Workspace Optimization (SharePoint/M365) – experience as a SharePoint Site Owner or Administrator, specifically focusing on building folder structures, permission levels, and metadata tagging to improve information retrieval.
  • Process Engineering & Automation – experience with Process Engineering & Automation
  • Experience with Multi-Stakeholder Coordination in Industrial Settings
  • Industry-Specific Safety Literacy – familiarity with safety management systems (SMS) or OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with complex data sets to identify trends and reporting requirements.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills tailored for a corporate environment.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required to support field operations.
  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
