Pay Rate: $31/hour

Contract Length: 9 months

Location: Calgary, Alberta (Warehouse – YYC)

Raise is currently hiring a Shipper on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing operational needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client is a major Canadian airline supporting aircraft maintenance and operations.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

 

Description

The Shipper will support aircraft operations by preparing, packaging, and shipping technical aircraft parts from the warehouse. This role is critical in ensuring that parts are delivered accurately, safely, and on time to maintain operational efficiency within the airline’s technical operations division.

This position operates in a warehouse environment and requires strong attention to detail, safety compliance, and experience handling shipping documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities             

  • Prepare and ship aircraft technical parts to support airline maintenance operations
  • Package and label shipments according to company and regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods shipping regulations
  • Process shipments using shipping systems and carriers
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Perform general warehouse and shipping duties as required
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping or warehouse shipping experience
  • Experience handling Dangerous Goods shipments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move packages as required
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Education and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Dangerous Goods certification or training preferred
  • Experience using FedEx Ship Manager is considered an asset
  • Basic computer and shipping system proficiency
  • Strong written communication skills
