We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing and adding an Equipment Operator (Offshore) to their team.
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Lafayette, LA 70508
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Job Overview:
The Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. This role identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
* Maintain equipment in good, safe working order according to standards, reporting any problems or deviations.
* Ensure individual and crew work safety.
* Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
* Operate equipment according to competency level and job requirements.
* Wear appropriate PPE and observe all HSE policies.
* Maintain all required safety training.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED.
* No experience needed; the role is open to "go-getters" who want to learn and start a career.
* TWIC Card (preferred, but not required to be hired).
