Maintenance Administrator I
- Pay Rate: $27.98/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Lethbridge, AB T1H 6P3 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 30-minute lunch | Will have to work some Saturdays if a maintenance shift is needed. The shift time might change to 9:30 -5:30 in season

Overview
- This position is directly accountable to the maintenance supervisor of the Lethbridge Canola Seed Processing Facility for the planning of preventive maintenance and repairs of machinery/equipment in Seed Cleaning, Seed Treating & Packaging, Bulk Seed Shipping & Receiving and Warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Utilize SAP work order/costing / stores to effectively plan all maintenance activities at the Lethbridge Canola Seed Processing Facility for Maintenance staff as well as contractors which will also include keeping track of stores (Parts on Hand) and reordering if necessary to keep stock level maintained.
- Maintain SAP master data to ensure all information and historical data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist the Maintenance manager in KPI success by keeping downtime to a minimum, by planning work orders within the established timelines and keep parts inventory audit ready.
- Assist in the implementation of a safe, secure, cost effective, quality maintenance program thought effective planning and cost estimation to achieve Budget requirements.
Requirements
- Journeyman parts technician or equivalent Diploma
- Software knowledge – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP workorders/costing/stores
- 3-5 years as a planner in a maintenance department or contracting company providing plant maintenance.
- Good time management skills and a background in scheduling worker’s time
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power point, Project
- Demonstrated flexibility in learning and detailed orientated.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to maintain good relationships with Production department in Cleaning, yard, packaging, and warehouse.
- Able to provide clear, concise instructions for team effectiveness and productivity of maintenance staff and Contractors.
- Ability to manage ordering and timelines of parts for planned jobs.
- Hight level of knowledge on SAP Work order/Costing/Stores
- Good work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow set standards and procedures.
- Good mechanical and electrical understanding of parts
