Duration: 8-month contract with possible extension
Job Overview:
* We are seeking a hands-on laboratory professional to support pilot plant operations by maintaining and operating two extraction units.
* This role is responsible for fluid sample collection, executing unit adjustments per test requestor instructions, and managing fluid transfers between frac tanks and 300-gallon totes.
* The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a highly technical, experimental environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand, operate, and maintain two extraction units within a pilot plant setting.
* Perform fluid sample collection in accordance with test requirements.
* Make unit adjustments based on detailed instructions provided by test requestors.
* Conduct fluid transfers between frac tanks and 300-gallon totes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or equipment-related issues as they arise.
* Communicate progress, observations, and technical updates clearly and accurately to stakeholders.
* Follow established procedures and safety protocols while supporting ongoing testing activities.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in science, technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to work.
* Ability to follow detailed technical instructions with precision.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting and reporting technical work.

* Highly technical background with strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with complex systems.
