We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding a Trainee Laboratory Technician to their team.
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00/hr on W2, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – Strasburg, OH, 44680
Work Schedule: 15 days on, 5 days off
Accommodations: While on rotation to a basin, you will be housed in a "man camp" or provided hotel-based housing.
Travel: If you are required to work in an oilfield basin away from your "home" location, you will be provided mileage for travel and reimbursable expenses with receipt.
Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.
* Identifies opportunities to improve service delivery.
* Performs quality assurance tests on company products, prepares laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite, and provides advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
* Maintains contact with the Client Support Labs and/or operating locations, product centers and the InTouch repository.
* Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Develop the competency level required to perform advanced additive selection and fluid design.
* Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed.
* Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
* Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
* Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
* Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
* Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
* Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
* Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
* Maintain the required safety training.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED is required.
