Pay Rate: Up to $20.68/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Type: Onsite – Sugar Land, TX 77478

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Duration: 8-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Job Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for processing customer orders, handling order entry and shipment scheduling. The Customer Service Specialist performs necessary functions to meet customer requirements on a timely basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate orders and shipments between Manufacturing and customers.
  • Interface with departments handling activities such as credit and collections, sales, shipping and purchasing to ensure effective and timely service to customer.
  • Track and report to customer and sales staff delivery date, anticipated delays, conflicting terms and conditions of customer purchase orders.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization, and formatting).
  • Skilled in the creation, formatting, and management of professional document files.
  • Strong English language competency with a focus on assertive communication to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and environments efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks and documentation.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
