Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) – 2nd Shift
- Pay Rate: $26.42/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 2 months with possible extension and/or conversion
- Location: Camden, NJ 08104 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (core hours)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-Start Checks of equipment
- Recognize and remove construction debris from the waste stream.
- Recognize and respond to unsafe/hazards in the pit
- Continually watching MSW haulers for safety standards that are followed on the tipping floor.
- Take direction from the tipping floor attendant as to MSW conditions.
- At the end of the shift, ensure the equipment is clean for its next use.
- Be fixable with start and end times.
- Able to drive a loader in tight quarters to load ash and metal trucks for disposal.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 7-Year Employment Verification
