Materials Handler
Pay Rate: $19.33 – $21.59/hour on W2, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – Sugar Land, TX 77478
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Duration: 7-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required
Raise is currently hiring a Materials Handler on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.
- Issue and transfer parts for production.
- Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical educational background is preferred, though not essential.
- Prior experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Computer literate with advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and processes quickly.
